2026 January Wins, February Magic & New Beginnings đŸŒș

As we step into February, I wanted to take a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the quiet wins and meaningful milestones that unfolded in January. This season has been one of steady growth, aligned opportunities, and deep gratitude, and I’m so excited to share what’s ahead!

✹ January Reflections & Creative Wins

January set the tone for the year in the most grounding way. It was a month of showing up to my studio practice with discipline and focus to my growth as an artist, and to the relationships that continue to support and uplift my work.

Behind the scenes, I spent intentional time refining my creative direction, reconnecting with my “why,” and allowing space for focused creation as well as rest when needed. Progress this month was deliberate and deeply fulfilling.

🌿 A Major Milestone: My First Wholesale Order

One of my biggest January wins is something I’ve been quietly working toward for a long time: my first ever wholesale order was officially purchased and delivered!

I’m so happy to share that my greeting cards are now available and exhibiting at Slow Island Provisions CafĂ© in the Harbor Mall. Slow Island Food & Beverage Co. is rooted in quality and authenticity at ground level, partnering with local farms to transform HawaiÊ»i grown ingredients into premium culinary syrups, cocktail mixers, gourmet pantry goods, and wellness elixirs.

If you’re in the area, you should definitely try the cold brew slushie (my fav), and check out the cards in person. A heartfelt mahalo to Gida for hosting my work and for supporting my art with such genuine encouragement. That kind of support means more than I can put into words.

🎹 New Work: Three Fresh Watercolor Paintings Completed

This week, I completed three new original watercolor paintings as part of an ongoing series inspired by Hawaiʻi island beauty and the spirit of aloha, each piece created with intention, softness, and the energy that continues to guide my work.

I’m excited to share that these paintings will be available for purchase through the Christiano Riso Gallery in Old Kƍloa Town, located in the heart of historic Kƍloa. Once installed, the work will be readily accessible to the public, art collectors, and visitors alike. These pieces will also be listed on my website for anyone who prefers to view or collect online.

Seeing my paintings move from studio to gallery is always an exciting moment for me. It's one that represents growth, trust in the process, and the hope that each piece finds the home it’s meant for.

🎹 Art Vendor Pop-Ups at the Grand Hyatt Kaua'i

I’m also continuing my art vendor pop-ups at the iconic Grand Hyatt Kaua'i. It’s an honor to share my work in such a beautiful space and connect with both visitors and the local community.

At these pop-ups, you’ll find:

  • Original artwork

  • Fine art prints

  • Greeting cards and small art goods

  • Select functional pieces featuring my original designs

Each piece is thoughtfully created and curated by me. Perfect for gifting, collecting, or taking a piece of Kauaʻi home with you. I'm super grateful for all the positive feedback I have received and collectors who now own a piece of ARTxLA.

📍 Upcoming Hyatt Pop-Up Dates:

Feb Tue 3rd 4-7pm

Feb Wed 11th 4-7pm

Feb Mon 16th 4-7pm

Feb Tue 24th 4-7pm

If you’re in the area, I’d love for you to stop by, say hi, and experience the work in person.

🌈 A Proud New Chapter: “KauaÊ»i Made”

I’m incredibly grateful to share that as of today, I am officially the newest member of “KauaÊ»i Made” 🌈

This milestone is especially meaningful to me as an artist now based in Hawaiʻi. Kauaʻi Made is a local membership program that highlights and supports products that are genuinely created on Kauaʻi, helping visitors and residents discover work that reflects the island’s culture, values, and creative spirit. Being part of this community is a beautiful opportunity because it connects my art with a wider network of local businesses, makers, and trusted platforms that celebrate authenticity, and it helps ensure that when someone chooses to shop local, they’re truly supporting Kauaʻi artists and entrepreneurs.

I’m honored to be included, and excited for the growth, relationships, and community opportunities ahead!

đŸŒș Looking Ahead to February

February is a short month, but in many ways, it feels perfectly designed. Four full weeks, clean Mondays, no spillover, everything fits neatly and compactly, creating a sense of clarity and momentum.

My calendar is fully laid out, and it’s shaping up to be a busy, productive, and exciting month. Between tattoo clients, pop-ups, gallery placements, wholesale growth, and ongoing studio work, I’m stepping into this next chapter with hyper focus and intention.

At the same time, I’m staying open and flexible, welcoming new collaborations, creative opportunities, and ways to continue growing alongside the community.

I’m excited to see where this next month leads!

Mahalo,

Lili
